This polara is fully restored inside and out and dressed in bright red over black interior. The motor was built as follows: . 030 over high performance 440 block, 415 stroke eagle crank, eagle h-beam rods, 9 to 1 forged pistons, balanced rotating assembly, file fie plasma moly rings, crane roller rockers, harden shafts, isky racing solid lifter flat tappet cam, 25 fi plate stage 6 mopar heads valves 2. 74 and 1. 81, rebuilt 8-71 blower wiwth teflon coating, rotors make 6 psi with current pulley set up, dual holley 850 cfm blower carbs, msd ignition with timing retarder, 8 quart oil pan with y2” pickup, melling high volume pump, windage tray, 20 degree total timing with 6 psi boost. The transmission is fortified with a coan custom built 9 inch converter, full manual valve body and steel wrapped bard with 4. 2 lever. The rear axle is a 4. 10 dana 60 with super stock springs and 1969 charger k-member. Highlights include painted front and rear bumpers, disc brakes, trunk mounted batteries with exterior kill, classic craggar ss wheels, automatic exhaust dampening, aluminum radiator, stock seats, gt steering wheel, tach with shift light, auto meter gauges, rjs seat belts, hurst ratchet shifter etc. The body seems to retain all its original sheet metal minus the hood, (two hoods available for the car that can be cut to fit. Mechanically this car is very well sorted, the motor roars to life and after about a 30 second warm up, the car will settle and idle at 1000 rpm. The car is very responsive and the horsepower is ear pinning. The set up is outstanding as the car tracks super straight under full load. The polara 500 super stocker is legendary. The car offered here is a take off of that theory, but stronger, faster, better…a fraction of the price it took to build the motor.
